The Bassa Atesina (Bozner Unterland or Südtiroler Unterland) is a region in South Tyrol that includes the area between Bolzano, Salorno and Termeno on the wine route. The area is particularly known for its wine production, for example Gewürztraminer, and the Alto Adige Wine Route passes through its territory. The area is crossed by the Adige river, the Brenner motorway and the Brenner railway.
The main town is Egna, although the largest inhabited centre is Laives.
